Welcome to My Portfolio

CompTIA Security+ certified IT professional (B.S. Information Technology, UCF 2026) with hands-on experience in Active Directory administration, network troubleshooting, identity and access management, and enterprise technical support across university and MSP environments. Skilled in VPN, VoIP, DNS, and infrastructure support using PowerShell, ServiceNow, and Linux-based systems.

About Me

I am a 25 year old IT professional originally from Venezuela and currently living in Orlando, Florida. I have been interested in technology from a young age, particularly how systems interact and how they can be protected from misuse or attack. This interest naturally led me to building custom PCs, where I focus on reliability, performance, and security in each build.

Outside of academics, I enjoy strategy driven games such as Elden Ring, The Witcher 3, and Baldurโ€™s Gate 3. These games reinforce skills that translate well to cybersecurity, including persistence, critical thinking, and problem solving under pressure. I am also an avid reader of epic fantasy, especially A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. The complexity of its world building and interconnected systems mirrors how I approach technical environments and security challenges.

I try to apply these habits of careful analysis, attention to detail, and ethical thinking to my academic and technical work.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป Security Labs & Competitions

Three-Tier-Distributed-Web-Based-Application | April 2026

Designed and implemented a three tier distributed web application architecture separating presentation, application logic, and data layers to simulate an enterprise level system. Developed a dynamic frontend interface integrated with a backend application server that processes client requests and communicates with a relational database for persistent storage. Implemented secure data handling and structured communication between tiers using HTTP based requests and server side processing. Configured and deployed the application using Apache Tomcat and MySQL, ensuring proper connectivity, session management, and role based access control. This project strengthened my understanding of distributed systems, web application architecture, database integration, and full stack troubleshooting in a multi tier environment.

VLAN Segmentation & Inter-VLAN Routing | March 2026

Designed and implemented a segmented enterprise-style network using Cisco Packet Tracer to simulate VLAN-based network isolation and controlled communication between departments. Configured multiple VLANs on a Cisco switch and implemented router-on-a-stick architecture using IEEE 802.1Q trunking and router subinterfaces to enable inter-VLAN routing across multiple /28 subnets. The project included configuring switch access ports, trunk links, and router interfaces using the Cisco CLI, as well as verifying network behavior through ICMP connectivity testing and interface diagnostics. This project strengthened my understanding of network segmentation, Layer 2 and Layer 3 interaction, subnetting, and troubleshooting VLAN routing in enterprise network environments.

Two-Tier SQL Client-Server Application| March 2026

Developed a Java-based client-server database application that connects to a MySQL server using JDBC and allows authenticated users to execute SQL commands through a graphical interface. The system supports multiple user roles with different database privileges, demonstrating role-based access control and secure database interaction. This project strengthened my understanding of database connectivity, SQL query execution, and client-server architecture in enterprise environments.

OCPS Cyber Challenge | January 2026

Participated in a competitive cybersecurity challenge designed to simulate real world defensive and offensive security scenarios in an enterprise style network. I worked in a two person team and placed 5th out of 60 teams. The competition involved ethical hacking tasks, network defense, system hardening, and vulnerability analysis under time constraints. This experience strengthened my teamwork skills and reinforced my ability to analyze security problems quickly and methodically.

Linux Active Directory & System Administration Lab | November 2025

Completed a hands on lab focused on identity and access management in a multi server virtualized environment. I deployed and managed a Linux based domain controller using Samba Active Directory, Kerberos, DNS, and NTP. The lab focused on least privilege access, automated administration through scripting, and validating directory services through structured testing. This project strengthened my understanding of system administration, authentication services, and security hardening in enterprise environments.

HACK@UCF Cyber Challenge CTF | February 2025

Competed in a scenario based Capture the Flag event focused on enterprise breach investigation and incident response. Tasks included network reconnaissance, service enumeration, and basic forensic analysis to identify compromised systems and recover data. The event emphasized structured investigation, rapid threat assessment, and working effectively under pressure.
